Union Jack       GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!     Union Jack

Before we continue, let us first get a bit of background, and pay a proper tribute!
As some of you already know, I have had numerous issues with my 1998 Jetta as of late, and the time has come to move on to another vehicle, but first,
a pictorial of my 1998 Jetta GT.

It always did look good...

Notice the LINUX logo, GO BLUE Bracket, and the "i read your email" sticker.  I'm trying to tell you something...

For those of you who are wondering, the medalion that is haning over the dashboard is my Chorister Medal that I earned way back when.  Alex and Mike should know what this is, and the meaning behind it.  It's an "Episcopalian" thing...

Inside "RSCM" at Princeton Reference to Mike R. Remember:  "...The RAINCOAT!!!...YES...YOU HEARD ME!!! THE RAINCOAT!!! THE RAINCOAT!!!..."

YUP, after 116333 miles it was time to retire the Jetta.

116k HARD miles, numerous snowstorms, rain, blistering heat and humidity, and 3 brutal commutes, the time has come to part ways...

It served me well, and all things considered, it will be missed...

You will be missed, but not Forgotten...

Fairwell my old friend...God's Speed...

And now, introducing...

"MINI Pearl"

Yeah, I know.  It's DUMB to "Name" a car, but it seems like the right thing to do.  It seems to fit since my mom's initials are
"PMC" (Pearl, the Mini Cooper), and it's kinda like a "Pearl White" colour  (Note the British Spelling - it's called PEPPER WHITE)

And LOOK, another LINUX logo...

*NOTE TO RELATIVES:  I'm sure when she finds out about this, she'll bark about me naming a car after her and question my mental capacity, but I'll live with her displeasure.

("i read your email" sticker soon to follow.  And don't you worry, I'm NOT gonna stick that to the outside and ruin the paint job!)

After all these years, I still don't remember how to drive an automatic...

YEP, the Chorister medal is here too...

The "Genuine Pleather" seats are big and comfy...
Heated too!
Even the door handles are kewl...
.

If you look closely, you'll notice that it says "FAIRFIELD COUNTY MINI" and NOT "New Country MINI/BMW"

BAD ASS:  Bonnett Stripes, black roof with panoramic sunroof and black mirrors!

That's what put the hook in me...
The picture doesn't do it justice...

About the "New Country MINI Buying Experience"...

All I can say for now is that Fairfield County MINI is the place to go.

Mark Smith is THE MAN!

*But, I will have to give props to the Service Manager at New Country MINI.

He did the right thing by me. No complaints there.
