MINI's on Top 2011
Once again, it was that time to take the trip up to the Mt Washington Observatory with a "collection of clown cars" for MOT.  Great times seeing old friends and making new ones as I once again was an egar volunteer.  I was on the go from the moment I got there until the very end.  Bumms me out that I couldn't socalize as much as I wanted to, but it was no less an enjoyable event; it was all worth it.

I stayed with Miriam and Nick at The Bartlett Inn and can't say enough about them. They look out for me when I inevitably misplace stuff (This time it was the charger for my camera!), and make sure that all who stay there are welcome guests.

On a sad note, I do have to mention my Uncle David.  I was getting reports through the weekend about his health, and I was saddened aboutthe bad news.  He was one who inspired me with his pictures and travels across the country in his Continental Mark IV which was in showroom condition every time I saw it (Bought it new, and had it for +25 years), his stories, and my introduction to care care ("...Get all that brake dust off the wheels before your Uncle David see it and fusses' at 'ya!...") and radar detectors (He had an origional FuzzBuster).  God's speed to you sir,  we'll miss you...

Otherwise, it was a great trip seeing friends and family on the way up and back.  Wonderful seeing the the Fairfield & Newington, CT crowd, and the "DM" folks as well.  I'm one lucky S.O.B to have friends like them...

Enough blogging...  on to the pics!
