Pics for Day 1

To my good fortune, I was able to fly VIRGIN America from JFK to SFO non-stop.  So I asked my POP if I could leave PEARL at their house while I was gone, and he was fine with it.  I drove from Newington to Fairfield, then hopped Metro North into Grand Central, and caught the Shuttle Bus to JFK.  I got there 2 hours early, and breezed thru security in about 10 minutes.  Now I have 2 hours to kill, and a camera.

VIRGIN America.  Good prices.  Very efficient, and I liked the Inflight Entertainment System.  It's LINUX based too!  Gotta hand it to Sir Richard Branson.  A good price, nice seats and the food didn't suck.  I watched TV all the way there, and only had interrupted service over, I think  Iowa / Nebraska area.  Even then, I can live with it over the other domestic carriers.  It was a BUMPY flight, but  I did try to get some cabin pics, but you can't fix  turbulence!

Hence, the Steed we will ride:  An AURBUS A320

I land in San Francisco.  Gino picks me up and we went to the beach.  That's when I knew I was in California.  At last!!
